Applications to the Waikato River Clean-up Trust for funding in 2021 have now closed.
The process to work through and evaluate the applications is now being carried out, with a final decision on successful projects made by the Waikato River Authority board in mid October.
Applications were open for approximately two months and closed on 12 August 2021.
The Waikato River Authority is making up to $6 million available to fund clean-up projects in the Waikato River and Waipā River catchments.
All successful applicants must provide the Waikato River Authority with organisational and project specific Health and Safety information prior to the deed of funding being signed for their project.
