Funding Applications

The 2021 funding round of the Waikato River Clean Up Trust is now open. All applications are to be made on-line via the button below.  Applications are due to be completed by 4pm, Thursday 12th August  2021.

Before applying we recommend you view our Funding Strategy 2021 for information about this year’s funding priorities and criteria.

A considerable change to funding criteria from last year is that applications for sponsorships will no longer be accepted. This includes sponsorships of sports teams, events, festivals, educational scholarships and conferences. If you would like to pursue a request for sponsorship, this should be made directly with the Waikato River Authority rather than through the annual funding round.

View the funded projects section our website for more information on successful projects, or see the videos below for tips on how to apply, and what we’re looking for in an application.  If you have any questions or would like to discuss your project ideas please contact michelle@waikatoriver.org.nz (07 839 7966).
