FUNDING APPLICATIONS

The 2020 funding round of the Waikato River Clean Up Trust is now open, and closes at 4pm sharp on Thursday 13th August.  Please view our Funding Strategy before applying.  Also see our funded projects section for more information on successful projects, or see the videos below for tips on how to apply, and what we’re looking for in an application.  If you have questions or would like to discuss your project ideas please contact michelle@waikatoriver.org.nz (07 839 7966).

 

MAKING AN APPLICATION

If you are considering making an application to the Waikato River Authority for funding please read our 2020 Funding Strategy first to check whether your project meets the funding criteria. Once you are ready to write your application click on the 'Make an Application' button above. This will take you to our application page.

All applications must be made online, but it is possible to access a Word copy of the form WRA Word application form 2020.

The Waikato River Authority will usually give priority to projects that that are co-funded. If you are seeking co-funding from other organisations you may wish to consider the  Environmental Funding Groups list here. If you need assistance with estimating project costs, the attached  document of Standard Costs and Assumptions may be helpful.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

All successful applicants must provide the Waikato River Authority with organisational and project specific Health and Safety information prior to the deed of funding being signed for their project.  Click on one of the links below to find out what Health and Safety documentation we require from you.
